Zdravím!
We had a pretty exciting week.
Our district got switched around a little bit, and now the C-Bud sisters are in my district. So I'm back in a district with Sis Scott and Sis Johnson! I'm wad the other elders had to leave, but I'm stoked to see Scott and Johnson again.
We went to Brno this week for two reasons.
The first is we had MLC (Mission Leadership Council). The border to Slovakia is finally partially open, so we got to meet in person! I got to see my buds from Slovakia again!! Dang I miss them. I also got to see the Rollins (my favorite senior couple) again for the first time in months. Made my whole week.
The second reason was for a baptism! The dude that we've been team teaching with Brno got baptized this week! Holy cow it was so good. He was so dang happy and so excited. After the baptism he said, "I just feel so refreshed. My head is clear. All my thoughts are clear." It was so cool. He has such a huge gift of recognizing the Spirit, so I was so dang stoked for him to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. I also got to see some of the members in Brno and a few of the other missionaries. It was such a good day.
Prague castle was free today, so for Pday our whole district went and toured Prague Castle. It was good just to spend time with all of them. We also got THE best ice cream. Man I love this place and the people I serve with.
Spiritual Thought:
“Give,” said the little stream,
“Give, oh! give, give, oh! give.”
“Give,” said the little stream,
As it hurried down the hill;
“I’m small, I know, but wherever I go
The fields grow greener still.”
Singing, singing all the day,
“Give away, oh! give away.”
Singing, singing all the day,
“Give, oh! give away.”
This is one of my favorite primary songs. :) I just reminds me that it's easy to get stressed about the logistics of giving and serving, but all that matters is that we do it with love. We might only make a small impact, but it's still making the world a better place.
Love you all! Thanks for all the love! Have the most fantastic week! Maybe eat some American cereal for me.
Sestra Lewis
